As many as 40 web sites belonging to the Sikh For Justice (SFJ), an outlawed organisation, have been blocked by the federal government for supporting secessionist actions, the House Ministry stated on Sunday.

The US-based Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) is a pro-Khalistan terrorist group.

“Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), an illegal organisation underneath the UAPA,1967, launched a marketing campaign for registering supporters for its trigger. On suggestion of MHA, MEITY has issued orders underneath Sec. 69 A of the I.T. Act, 2000, for blocking 40 web sites of SFJ,” a house ministry spokesperson stated.

The Ministry of Electronics and Data Expertise (MEITY) is the nodal authority for monitoring the cyber area in India.

The SFJ pushed for Sikh Referendum 2020 as a part of its separatist agenda.
