The corporate had posted a web revenue of Rs 1,012.17 crore throughout the identical interval of the earlier fiscal.
Its complete income from operations fell to Rs 3,079.24 crore for the April-June interval, down 60.29 per cent, from Rs 7,755.82 crore in the identical interval of 2019-20 fiscal, Bajaj Auto stated in a regulatory submitting.
Bajaj Auto stated it offered 4,43,103 models through the first quarter towards 12,47,174 models within the year-ago interval.
The corporate stated fiscal 2020-21 “has been a particularly difficult quarter because of the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. Lockdown and different containment/precautionary measures have resulted in disrupted provide traces and a pointy decline in total demand”.
Shares of the corporate have been buying and selling at Rs 2,961 apiece, down 1.44 per cent from its earlier shut on the BSE.
