US Sanctions 11 Chinese Firms For Human Rights Violations Against Uighurs

The US Commerce Division on Monday introduced it has blacklisted 11 Chinese language companies for involvement in human rights violations in opposition to the Uighur minority, slicing off the companies’ entry to American items.

Washington, along with different western nations and rights teams, has accused Beijing of interning no less than one million Muslims from the Uighur ethnic group within the western Xinjiang area.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo earlier this month referred to as China’s therapy of Uighurs “the stain of the century.”

However Beijing denies an wrongdoing, saying Uighurs are attending vocational coaching facilities.
