West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on Sunday urged Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to work in accordance with the regulation and the Structure, and asserted that the state police can not behave like “political employees”.

After assembly relations of BJP employee Madan Ghorai, who died allegedly in police custody, Mr Dhankhar stated the state police was “enjoying with fireplace”.

“Work in accordance with the regulation and the Structure. One can find your governor working together with your authorities shoulder to shoulder within the service of individuals,” Mr Dhankhar stated.

The governor, who has been at odds with the federal government since assuming cost within the state, stated, “Police can’t be political employees.”

“Those that are sleeping like Kumbhakarna aren’t conscious that there’s something like future,” he advised newspersons on the Raj Bhavan.

Earlier within the day, Mr Dhankhar wrote a letter to the Chief Minister and stated the demise of Mr Ghorai is yet one more occasion of “dehumanising torture, assault and loss of life” in custody.

Mr Ghorai was arrested in Patashpur in East Medinipur district on September 26 in reference to a kidnapping case.

He was the BJP sales space vice-president within the space. The police had stated he was in judicial custody and never in its custody as claimed by the saffron celebration.

Swapan Ghorai, brother of the late BJP employee, urged the governor to intervene within the matter.

He handed over a letter to the governor, alleging that the police personnel had crushed his brother on the time of his arrest.

Mr Madan was in judicial custody since September 27, and his spouse was knowledgeable on October 13 that he had died and was requested to gather his useless physique from SSKM Hospital, Mr Swapan stated in his letter to the governor.
